Gatsby v4 with Typescript
This course will take you through the basics of Gatsby JS, using Typescript for everything from config to GraphQL
With the release of GatsbyJS 4.9 in March 2022 we can now use Typescript for virtually everything when developing a GatsbyJS website. If you have a basic understanding of Typescipt and web design and want to try out Gatsby in the slickest way possible then this course is for you.
You will learn why static site generators are growing in popularity, why Gatsby is still relevant in 2022, and how Typescript can be used to reduce the learning curve of this framework. The course is suitable for both beginner and intermediate levels as we will be covering some of the basics such as interacting with the CLI using your terminal, and some basic React TSX syntax.
The exercises in this course are in the form of screen share videos that you can follow along with. You are encouraged to experiment and go beyond the basic examples in this course once you have the fundamentals down.
While the focus of the course is on GatbsyJS, we will also be explaining a few Typescript, React and Sass concepts as we go, so familiarity with any of these is not critical and you will be able to pick up the basic syntax that we use in all the examples presented here.
